The Environmental Program of the World Organization for Peace aims to protect all elements encompassing the biodiversity of the planet, particularly flora and fauna, the conservation of the hydrosphere, and the mitigation of climate change in all its phases. This is achieved through the development of international environmental instruments, such as programs, projects, and campaigns, as well as the promotion of multidisciplinary actions that strengthen conscious and balanced environmental management. The program focuses on creating and implementing strategies that safeguard the environment and promote sustainability at a global level.
Objetivos:
1.- UNIVERSAL PROTECTION OF ALL PLANETARY ECOSYSTEMS
To preserve and care for each and every species associated with the flora and fauna on Earth, safeguarding their habitats, and ensuring the conservation of both air and water.
2.-INITIATION OF REFORESTATION PROCESSES AND ACTIVITIES:
In the entire Mexican national territory and in all nations that are part of the organization.
3.-CARE AND PRESERVATION OF ENDANGERED SPECIES:
Taking into account the significant risk of permanently losing hundreds of species due to activities such as poaching and illegal trade.
4.-CLEANUP OF OUR SEAS AND OCEANS:
Through the partial and complete elimination of waste accumulation in them, and increased precautions for vessels that daily navigate these waters for commercial and touristic purposes.
ACHIEVING THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGs) FOR REDUCING GLOBAL WARMING:
By continuing and upholding agreements established during the development of International Summits among nations to significantly reduce the depletion of the ozone layer.
Etapas:
IDENTIFICATION: Based on the results obtained from the review of national and international indices, areas suitable for reforestation activities will be identified, analyzing their key climatic factors and, consequently, developing projects for the benefit of all.
PLANNING: According to the established program, all departments of OMPP/WOFP will initiate fieldwork in the selected areas in collaboration with local authorities, public and private institutions, the general civil society, and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) with whom strategic alliances are maintained. A committee of volunteer members will be formed according to the program’s needs to support and ensure adherence to deadlines and objectives.
PRIORITIZATION: During the initiation of these activities, close monitoring will be conducted to ensure the assigned processes, human resources, financial resources, and specific project objectives are met within the established timelines.
PREPARATION: Once the main objective of the program is achieved, a final evaluation will be conducted using all the recorded data. This evaluation will provide a comprehensive assessment of the impact on the reforested area, the effectiveness of the processes, and the identification of corrective actions. Additionally, a knowledge base and set of indicators will be established to aid in the creation of future programs.
