Commemoration of the 204th Anniversary of Central American Nations’ Independence

The World Organization for Peace (WOFP) was honored to attend the commemorative events for the 204th anniversary of the Independence of Central American Nations, held at the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana in Mexico City.

This significant event aimed to pay tribute to the historic struggle that initiated the sovereignty and self-determination of Central American countries, while also inviting reflection on the values that remain pillars in building our societies: freedom, unity, cultural cooperation, and peace.

WOFP’s presence at this ceremony symbolizes not only a commitment to honoring Central America’s historical legacy but also a reaffirmation of its dedication to the universal principles of peace, international cooperation, and strengthening cultural ties among nations. Furthermore, the invitation extended to the Organization acknowledges its ongoing work in promoting a culture of peace across Latin America and the world—building pathways for dialogue, collaboration, and hope among nations that share historical roots and a common future.

Through its participation in this commemoration, WOFP reiterates its belief that collective memory and solidarity-driven cooperation are essential tools for building more just, inclusive, and peaceful societies.
