The Organization

The World Organization for Peace (WOFP) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and fostering of global peace through humanitarian assistance initiatives. Founded in 1991 with a firm commitment to mitigate suffering and injustices in the most vulnerable areas of the world, it is distinguished by its focus on international cooperation, sustainable development, and the defense of human rights. Through a network of global collaborators and volunteers, the organization works tirelessly to provide direct assistance to communities affected by conflicts, natural disasters, and extreme poverty.

What does the WOFP do?

The WOFP is dedicated to mediating international and local conflicts, working closely with governments, non-governmental organizations, and affected communities. The primary goal is to establish and consolidate peace by creating spaces for dialogue and negotiation to resolve disputes peacefully. Additionally, the WOFP promotes humanitarian assistance initiatives in conflict zones, providing vital resources such as food, clean water, medicine, and shelter to the most vulnerable populations. These humanitarian actions not only alleviate immediate suffering but also create a conducive environment for reconciliation and social reconstruction.
